Why is the answer empty?
Enter at least one number. In Add / subtract, any box you leave empty counts as 0. For a clock time, choose the hour, the minute and AM or PM.
My shift ends after midnight. How do I count it?
Use Time between and choose the start and end times. When the end time is earlier than the start time, it is counted on the next day: 10:00 PM to 6:15 AM is 8 hours 15 minutes.
How do I take out an unpaid break?
In Time between, type the break in minutes in the last box. 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30-minute break is 8 hours.
How do I write 7 hours 45 minutes as decimal hours for a timesheet?
Open Convert, type 465 and choose Minutes — or add 7 h 45 min in Add / subtract. The answer is 7.75 hours (45 ÷ 60 = 0.75). 20 minutes is 0.3̅ hour (0.333… with the 3 repeating), shown exactly.
What time will it be 3 hours 45 minutes after 10:30 PM?
Use Clock ±: start 10:30 PM, 3 hours, 45 minutes, Later. The answer is 2:15 AM, and it says that this is tomorrow.
Can I type 1.5 hours or 90 minutes?
Yes. Every box takes decimals and numbers above 59: 1.5 hours is 1 hour 30 minutes, and 90 minutes becomes 1 hour 30 minutes automatically.
